Last Saturday, we drove over to the GP food court in Taman Pertama, Ipoh. There is a new stall which took over the cake and bread stall. This stall serves something like what I have eaten in Johor. You can pick from the variety of ingredients and then the ingredients will be weighed (for cost calculation) before the dish is cooked . You can also request for the level of spiciness.
I chose to order from the set menu which offers 3 choices.
I picked the 1st set which costs about RM12 plus.
From 3 types of meat (beef, chicken, pork), I chose beef.
From rice, instant noodle, thick vermicelli, I chose instant noodle.
I requested for medium spicy.
As you can see from the above, I had beef, instant noodle, lotus root, tofu puff, sausage, green veggie, fried peanuts, etc.
Everything was good except that it was a bit too salty for us and the beef was tough. Next time, I must remember to pick pork or chicken and also to request for it to be less salty.
Hubby ordered 2 fried chicken drumstick and some veggie from the Indian rice stall.

Beautiful flowers from your front garden. Too salty I cannot stand so I never eat from this format of food because very often the dish ends up too salty. So I guess you will try it again next time with chicken or pork, right?
ReplyDeleteI am used to less salty food. Maybe yes and maybe no, it will all depends whether I want to give it another try.
