Drunken Prawn Soup, Long Beans Omelette & Vegetable Acar

We went out for our morning walk and as usual, we stopped at our regular coffee shop for our favourite coffee. Lately, we see an increase in the early morning customers dining-in the coffee shop, which is a good sign that business is picking up. Walking home, I took snapshots of the sunrise and clear blue sky with white clouds.

Sunrise at 7:33am.
7:35am
7:40am
7:42am
7:44am
The current weather is a mixture of sunny days with intermittent rainfall.
White bougainvillea by the roadside in front of a residential house.
We also passed by this variegated purplish bougainvillea.
Both photos are from the same plant.
For this dinner, I managed to clear a tub of frozen prawns and a packet of vegetable acar.
Home grown long beans omelette.
Appetizing vegetable acar
Drunken Prawns Soup - very flavourful.
(Ingredients: Prawns, cauliflower, ginger strips, goji berries, spring onion, sesame oil and Chinese cooking wine)

Don't act thoughtlessly, but try to find out
and do whatever the Lord wants you to.
Don't drink too much wine, for many evils lie along that path;
be filled instead with the Holy Spirit and controlled by him.
(Ephesians 5:17-18, The Living Bible-TLB)

  9. The flowers are so unique, the colours. With prawns and acar, no need for the omelette, right? Could just stir fry long beans on their own if u must cook the long beans if they are going bad. Can finish all 3 dishes?

  21. Yes you are right it is now sunny days with intermittent rainy days as the Qing Ming Festival (Tomb sweeping Festival) is coming soon. I like all the dishes for your dinner, especially the long beans omelette and the soup. Yums!

I love to visit your blog, always beautiful sky shots, beautiful flowers, delicious dishes and interesting wild life (birds, insects, etc) to see.

Plus you end them so nicely with an appropriate bible verse.

    Nice!
