When I woke up, I heard raindrops on the awning roof. I waited until just before 7am before I went out to check if it was still drizzling. No more drizzling, so it was clear for our morning walk.

Breakfast
Chinese crullers, garlic bread and pork noodle for breakfast.

Fried minced pork plus fish paste patties.
Sweet Thai chili sauce.
The evening was warm and we didn't want any rice.
So, this was our dinner, nothing else.
While I was watering my garden, I spotted this grasshopper.

Normally, grasshoppers leave the okra leaves alone.
Since it didn't do much damage, I left it alone. I gave it a little shower with my garden hose and it hopped onto the long beans vine.

DeleteEekkkkk!!! Grasshoppers! I often see those huge all green ones in my garden. I just let them be. My garden is an all-you-can-eat buffet...and boy, they can finish off all the leaves so fast!!!

So far these grasshoppers are not really damaging my plants. It is the caterpillars that can bald my periwinkles plants just overnight. Stay home and stay safe.

DeleteI like the ching ching pork noodles. I spotted Kap chung and ham Chim peang. Is that ham Chim peang with red bean inside? I prefer wat tan hor than the noodles dish next to it. Minced pork and fish patties sound good to munch on, no need rice at all. You are so nice to the grasshopper, thank you! ❤️

Grasshoppers...don't see to many here, but they are definitely around. I went to put my hand into my clothespin bucket yesterday and nearly squished one! He was hanging out there!
