HK Chee Cheong Fun, Roast Pork, Chapati & Chicken Varuval

This was a Monday. After the early morning rain stopped, the weather was nice and cool. When we started out on our morning walk, the sun was shining and the sky was clear.

Morning sky, clear and bright at 7:25am.
The ground was still wet from the rain and mist on Kledang Hill.
A close up shot of Kledang Hill and the mist.
The birds were happily chirping away on the tree top.

After morning walk, we drove to a nearby town to buy breakfast.
After placing order for 2 sets of Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun (steamed rice noodle with bbq pork and prawn filling), I went to the next stall to order roast pork.
This was about RM15 worth of roast pork.
A satisfying dinner on a nice cool morning.
We each took a few pieces of roast pork and kept most of the roast pork in the fridge for cooking purposes.
Chinese art wall mural on the outside wall of a Chinese school.
I don't understand the Chinese writing but I like the drawing.
~~~~~
I was in lazy mode, so no cooking for dinner.
Fried economy noodle from an Indian stall for hubby.
Chicken varuval, small portion.
Chapati for me.
Nice to take leave from cooking and enjoy this light dinner for a change.
Linking to Monday Mural.
It doesn't make any difference now
whether we have been circumcised or not;
what counts is whether we really have been changed
into new and different people.
  2. Love the clouds around the Kledang Hills! Dunno what chicken varuval is, sure would love to try. I love chapati, all those Indian breads. Hard to get here, very very few Indians, predominantly Chinese, so very very few Indian eateries around.
