Stewed Chicken With Taro

This was last Monday with a lovely morning.

Morning sky at 7am.
Sunrise at 7:09am.
7:25am
~~~~~
Simple take away breakfast for 2.
Hubby boughted rolled chee cheong fun yam bean filling with curry and some fish ball and fish cake. He had unsweetened black coffee.
I bought 2 pieces yam bean dumplings and 1 packet wheat porridge (muk chook). We shared the wheat porridge. I had unsweetened milo.
Multi layered petals hibiscus by the roadside.
Accompanied hubby to the bank and waited in the car for him because it was not easy to find parking in this area.
Having nothing to do, I decided to take snapshots of this vintage building. "The Mercantile Bank Limited" sign is still there. There is now a for sale or for rent notice.
This building was completed in 1931.
~~~~~
Home cooked 1 dish dinner for 2.
Stewed chicken with taro.
This was our no rice dinner, with the taro providing the carbs.

You have died with Christ,
and he has set you free from the spiritual powers of this world.
So why do you keep on following the rules of the world, such as,
"Don't handle! Don't taste! Don't touch!"?
Such rules are mere human teachings about things
that deteriorate as we use them.
These rules may seem wise because they require strong devotion,
pious self-denial, and severe bodily discipline.
But they provide no help in conquering a person's evil desires.
(Colossians 2:20-23, New Living Translation-NLT)

  5. We have an OCBC here, a relatively new bank compared to the rest. No, I do not have an account there.

    Yes, you'd get more than enough carbs from the taro!

  7. Long time I never eat muk chook already. Your food all looks good especially your dinner chicken with taro no need to eat rice as taro is the rice. Yam bean dumplings are tasty too if not too oily. Good that you can jaga the car and to drive it away if police or anyone asks you to clear the space. Did you sit in the car driver's seat or passenger's seat when waiting in the car?
