Drunken Chicken Soup Noodle & Roast Duck Noodle

This was Christmas Day morning. We didn't go for morning walk because we were preparing for Christmas Day physical church service.

Sunrise at 7:30am.
~~~~~
Since we have plenty of time, we drove out to town for breakfast at Restoran Impressive. We have not been there for many years so it was like a new place for us.
Hubby ordered Drunken Chicken Noodle Soup.
The pieces of chicken were beneath the fried egg.
I ordered wonton noodle with roast duck.
The roast duck noodle came with 4 wontons (minced meat dumplings) and soup.
My Pink Mexican Petunias showing off their blooms.
An antique camera in the Gopeng Museum.
This snapshot was taken when we last visited the museum in 2015.
As you can see, it has a chain around it.
Then they cried to the Lord in their troubles, and he rescued them!
He led them from the darkness and shadow of death
and snapped their chains.
Oh, that these men would praise the Lord for his
loving-kindness and for all of his wonderful deeds!
(Psalm 107:13-15, The Living Bible-TLB)
    1. They named it Drunken Chicken because of the added wine to the soup.
  3. Your Pink Mexican Petunias pink colour is so sweet. The drunken chicken noodles are our favourite as it has a deep fried egg just like yours. Did you both share each other dishes or just eat your plate of wanton noodles?
  14. Yes, we have roast duck noodles here too, similar and very nice. Haven't had that for so long. I guess your hubby likes his egg overdone like that, the egg no longer runny?
    1. Hubby is not fussy about his fried eggs as long as they are not hard boiled.
  16. Merry Christmas, luckily both of you got home safely after your husband had his drunkard chicken soup. I like roast duck and the price of roast ducks has escalated to RM82/duck in PJ. Do you know that your Mexican petunias also come with pink and white flowers? I was quite surprised to see these 2 new colours and am trying to find them in the nursery.
    1. The wine in the soup was not strong enough to make him drunk. Lol! I have pink, purple and white colours but the white has been missing for some time.
  17. I am drooling over the drunken chicken soup. Must be good to take in the morning. We haven't gone to church for the past 2 years!! Only online for time being as church doesn't allow unvaccinated children and my youngest hasn't got his yet.
    1. A little wine in the morning to warm up the body especially during rainy days. Online is more convenient. Physical church needs both scanning of QR code and registration. Seating has to follow SOP too.
