As usual, our day started with our morning walk.
Walking exercise at 7:35am.
Hubby and I shared this plate of fried rice vermicelli. The fried noodle boss was in good mood because the plate of fried noodle came with 5 prawns and extra fat and short beansprout.

I had a lunch appointment with a friend and my sister. The three of us agreed to meet up for lunch and fellowship. Our friend will come to pick me, then pick up my sister and then proceed to Chang Jiang White Coffee Cafe, Ipoh which is quite near to my sister's house.
My sister ordered iced coffee.
The coffee came in a stainless steel mug and a jug with ice.
My sister pouring the coffee into the glass jug.
I was tempted to order the same thing but I am suppose to be cutting down on my coffee intake.
I think my friend ordered hot coffee or was it "cham" (coffee with tea)?
Lemon ice for me.
My sister is a light eater so she ordered toast with butter and kaya.
We even had to help her eat half of it.
My sister also order the above fried wonton dumplings to share with us.
Our friend ordered this baba spicy noodle soup to try.
Her review: Nothing special.
I ordered the above nasi lemak with a chicken drumstick, half a hard boiled egg, a piece of papadam, sambal and green. I like the taste of the chicken drumstick and so it is not surprising I could finish all the rice.

My friend Aislynn sent me the following photos of her adopted pet dogs.
These 2 sisters have grown so much under my friend's loving care.
These 2 beautiful girls obediently posed for the camera.
Linking to Saturday's Critters.
But those who keep on sinning are against God,
for every sin is done against the will of God.
And you know that he became a man so that
he could take away our sins, and that there is no sin in him,
no missing of God's will at any time in any way.
So if we stay close to him, obedient to him,
we won't be sinning either;
but as for those who keep on sinning, they should realize this:
They sin because they have never really known him or become his.

DeleteHello Nancy, :=) Your friends adopted pet dogs are lovely. I'm so glad they were not separated, and grew up together. They look happy intelligent dogs.
ReplyDeleteMy friend doesn't have the heart to adopt just one and leave one behind, so she adopted 2 of them.
DeleteHello Nancy,
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful day and a lovely sky. Your meals all look delicious, I love coffee, the lemon ice sounds refreshing. The dogs are so cute, adorable sisters. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

DeleteCoffee with tea? Interesting!
ReplyDeleteCan´t wait / hope we need to order ice for our drinks this coming summer, too.
Think I´m like your sister. When eating (hahaha... long ago) colleagues always made fun of me cause I took the other half back to the company for the next day.
Straight out of the pan, LOL, a first to see for me, too.
Thank you, Iris. That is an old pan which my friend no longer used for cooking. Lol!
DeleteYour Nasi dish looks yummy. I would like to try it. Happy Sunday to you.
ReplyDeleteThank you and have a wonderful new week.
DeleteI am sure that you eat out more often in a week than we do in a whole year, and during the two years we have been living with COVID it has happened only once, during one of the periods when restrictions were relaxed.
ReplyDeleteThank you, David. Over here, sometimes eating out is more convenient than having to cook ourselves.
Delete...the lemon ice looks refreshing, but on this cold morning I'll have a hot drink.
ReplyDeleteOver here we are sweating and we welcome anything with ice in it.
DeleteI adore your friend's dogs, they are my favorite of all today. Have a great weekend Nancy!

DeleteOh I have just ordered Chang Jiang coffee after seeing someone's review that it's better than Chek Hup. didn't know there is an actual Chang Jiang cafe (assuming it's the same without looking at the chinese characters!). End up, I prefer Chek Hup.
ReplyDeleteIf for meet up and get together with friends over food and coffee, the cafe is a nice place to consider. I have tried Chek Hup instant coffee for home consumption and I usually drink Chiang Jiang coffee in the coffee shops for breakfast. I have since cut down on coffee intake because it is causing me sleepless nights. Sighhhh...
