Dinner At Restoran Li Garden, Ipoh

We have been having thunderstorms on and off. When there is no thunderstorm, it is usually cloudy for most part of the day.

Whenever I don't feel like having noodle, I will order toast with butter and kaya. I like the above cute plate.
Toast with a cup of hot unsweetened milo.
Now a cup of milo costs RM2.60.
Morning sky at about 7.45am. Another cloudy day.

Dinner with friends at Restoran Li Garden, Taman Pinji Seni, Ipoh.
Red Tilapia in claypot.
We ordered prawn curry in bread.
Instead of crabs, we requested for prawns.
This set costs RM60.00.
We ordered 1 plate of rice and the rest of us had bread.
Water spinach or kangkong in claypot.
This dinner costs around RM114, paid by our friend.

So let us feast upon him and grow strong in the Christian life,
leaving entirely behind us the cancerous old life
with all its hatreds and wickedness.
Let us feast instead upon the pure bread
of honor and sincerity and truth.

  1. Love your Dinner At Restoran Li Garden especially the whole steamed fish. Bread is good to soak up all the delicious curry gravy. I would go for prawns too instead of crabs. Your friend is so nice to give you all a treat. Wonderful bonding dinner. I like to eat toasts too. Used to eat that at old town white coffee but more than two years never been there already. Do you make toasts with butter and kaya like that at home for breakfast?

    1. Kaya is made from coconut milk, sugar and eggs. A sweet spread for toast, bread or crackers.

  21. Nancy didn't know it was milo since it wasn't milk, coffee or tea. I turned to Google and there I found the answer:

    1. Usually milk is added to milo but I ordered just plain milo which milo on its own with hot water. That is how I make my own milo at home too because milo is already sweet on it own.

    Buena semana, amiga Nancy.

  28. SO much good food. You have such an interesting life. I locve seeing all these dishes. I forgot to mention in the previous post, I recently purchased two tall glass canisters with the metal closure on them for our pinto beans and rice. I need more though as we use white, brown and wild rice. :-)
