Roast Chicken & 2 Slices Of Cake From Our Friends

Last week, just as I was about to prepare dinner, I received a call from our dear friend. She informed me that dinner is on the way to my house and told me not to cook.

In a short while, we received our dinner from Baker's Cottage.
The 1st item was a roast chicken.
The 2nd item was 2 slices of cake.
Thank you, dear friends for your kind thoughts and treat.
Sunrise at 7:05am on our morning walk.     I noticed that the tree we passed by that morning has started to bloom.
Google Lens identified this plant as Cassia Fistula or Golden Shower.
It is a joy to see these Golden Showers hanging down from the tree.

Plant the good seeds of righteousness,
and you will reap a crop of my love;
plow the hard ground of your hearts,
for now is the time to seek the Lord,
that he may come and shower salvation upon you.
(Hosea 10:12, The Living Bible-TLB)

  4. Baker's Cottage? Isn't that a bakery? I bought mooncakes from there before. How come they are selling roast chicken too>

  8. How nice to receive food surprises!

    The tree looks quite high so probably most people wouldn't notice the beautiful yellow flowers.
