Haru Manis Mangoes & Home Cooked Prawn Tom Yum Soup

The days are hot and usually rains in the late afternoons.

Sunrise at about 7:30am.
In the afternoon, this was delivered to our house and received by hubby.
Elder son ordered these "Haru Manis" mangoes for us.
Inside the box were 7 mangoes and a short note on when the mangoes will be ripe to be eaten.
2 days after receiving the mangoes, they started to smell nice, so it is time to cut even though they may still be green on the outside.
The texture is smooth and tastes sweet.
~~~~~
Received a package of frozen prawns from my neighbour.
The amount is more than enough for 4 people, so I cooked tom yum soup with the prawns. I gave half the portion to my neighbour to enjoy for their dinner.
Some leftover steamed pork rib from the previous day.
This was our yummy-licious and appetizing dinner with steamed brown rice.
Yes indeed, it is good when you truly obey our Lord's command,
"You must love and help your neighbors
just as much as you love and take care of yourself."
(James 2:8, The Living Bible-TLB)
  2. The Haru Manis Mangoes look so good. I wonder where he bought it from. Would like to order delivery if possible too. Do you know? Thanks in advance. Your Home Cooked Prawn Tom Yum Soup is so delicious. If very spicy then I cannot drink the soup but I will eat the prawns.
    1. Actually the tom yum soup is not spicy at all and should have added a few more chilies. If you are interested, the mangoes were from Dimensi Agro Jaya, Lot 2077, Kampung Kubang Tiga, 02450 Chuping, Perlis Indera Kayangan.   4. Were the mangoes ordered via Maybank? Harumanis is very expensive. I tumpang order from a colleague who was in Perlis at the time, and found the taste not special enough to warrant the price. Did you like these?
  5. So nice!!! I buy from my neighbourhood fruit shop, so so so expensive. The long ones and the round ones, from Thailand. My girl loves to eat them what to do?
    I think the round ones are the bigger version of the apple mango, big like coconut mango but I think coconut mango is nicer.
  9. I really envy you those mangoes. They cost a small fortune here and it's always difficult (for me at least) to know when they are ripe.
