We had a dinner date with our friends.
It was their first dinner at Fan Chen Mei Restaurant, Bercham.
Stir fried baby French beans with garlic and pickled radish @ RM11.
Yam ring filled with diced chicken and assorted vegetables @ RM18.
Nyonya curry with Grouper fish slices + assorted vegetables @ RM25.
We also ordered 2 types of double steamed soup @ RM6.80 each.
Coconut and chicken soup for our friends &
white radish with roasted pork bones for hubby and I.
Total cost for dinner = RM79 (including rice & drinks).
~~~~~
After dinner, we went window shopping at a nearby shopping mall before sending our friends home.
Dried puffed up Puffer Fish.
We saw these at one of the stalls in the shopping mall.
At first glance we thought they were durian fruits. Lol!
What are you so puffed up about?
What do you have that God hasn't given you?
And if all you have is from God,
why act as though you are so great,
and as though you have accomplished something on your own?
(1 Corinthians 4:7, The Living Bible-TLB)
  3. I sure would love to try the Nyonya Curry Fish Slices and Yam Ring. Both dishes look so delicious! The Stir Fried Baby French Beans is there to represent green vege for a balanced meal. Is the dried puffer fish for sale?
  12. Nancy,how ugly is the puffer fish!
    In addition, it is one of the most poisonous animals in the aquatic world. It has a toxin known as tetrodotoxin that is lethal to its predators and also to humans
