Creamy Curry Noodle For Lunch & Fish Curry For Dinner

A morning with overcast sky. It remained gloomy for the whole day but it didn't rain.

Sunrise at 7:13am.
Sunrise at 7:20am.
~~~~~
A friend came over for a visit and we went out for lunch at Classic Mealody Kopitiam, Pusat Perniagaan Falim.
Both of us ordered the creamy curry noodle and we love the thick creamy curry broth.
And unsweetened coffee with evaporated milk (kopi-c kosong). For the time being, there is a promotion for free refill of coffee. No refill available for our choice of coffee.
Dine-out evening with friends.
2 friends have recommended this place to me so I suppose the food her is worth trying.
Restoran Number One Mei Sik Wan.
#157, Jalan Raja Permaisuri Bainun (Jalan Kampar), Taman Kampar, Ipoh.
Fish curry in clay pot. Curry broth thick and creamy.
We noticed most tables ordered this dish.
Marmite chicken.
Seafood tofu.
We will be looking forward to our next visit.
Halfway through our dinner, a heavy downpour started.
We had to wait till it slowed to a drizzle before we could leave.
Our neighbour gifted us the above mooncakes.
Fruity agar-agar mooncakes on the left.
There were 2 mooncakes with nuts, one already eaten.
We had eaten one with mango, yet to taste the other 3 types.
I saw this framed-up picture of Elvis Presley at a cafe in Penang.
American singer and actor and dubbed the "King of Rock and Roll".
Elvis Presley (8/1/1935 - 6/8/1977)
Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete,
and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture!
But when the time of perfection comes,
these partial things will become useless.
  6. The colour of the curry noodles is nicer than that of the fish curry. I love Bovril mee but I can't remember if I had Marmite anything before or not. Heard of Marmite crabs. Now they sell the sauce for cooking, not using the original Marmite in the bottle.
  7. Thank you Nancy for sharing with us about your day. Oh, so you ate curry for both lunch and dinner? I guess Creamy Curry Noodle For Lunch and Fish Curry For Dinner should be fine once in a while because not everyday you will get to eat two curry meals. The agar agar mooncakes I like but cannot keep for long in the fridge because I think the agar agar will keluar water.
  20. Many variants of mooncakes these days. Are the jelly ones made with konyaku and thus more 'elastic' than normal agar2?
