Prawns & Onions With Oyster & Soy Sauce For Dinner

On this particular morning, we had this lovely sunrise.

Sunrise at 7:25am.
View of Kledang Hill on the reverse side at 7:25am.
After morning walk, we drove to Restaurant Meng Meng Kee at Laluan Perusahaan Menglembu 1 for breakfast.
Hubby ordered char siew wan tan mee with pork wan tan (dumplings). We ordered 2 cups of teh si kosong (unsweetened tea with evaporated milk) and toast with butter and kaya.
Hor hee glass noodle for me.
Pink rain lilies blooming between 2 flower pots in front of my house.
~~~~~
Home cooked dinner.
Blanched home grown green amaranth from my front veggie plot.
Shelled prawns cooked with garlic, ginger, onion, oyster and soy sauce.
Cooked 2 packets of instant noodle with spicy seasoning.
Home cooked no rice dinner for 2.
Linking to Skywatch Friday.
For we know that when this tent we live in now is taken down -
when we die and leave these bodies -
we will have wonderful new bodies in heaven,
homes that will be ours forevermore,
made for us by God himself and not by human hands.
  1. I really think you would cry over the breakfast you get here in cafés and such!
    (I have carrots and some veggie-mikni-burgers atm).
    Beautiful lilies and the amaranth might be spinach-like?
    To a nice day, the sun is coimung out here, too!
    Lovely first sky shot and pretty flowers. Your prawn dish looks good. I ate a similar meal only yesterday. with only a slight difference in ingredients My daughter cooked lunch using shelled prawns with garlic, onion carrots egg plant, ginger but with tomatoes. There was some left over, so it will be for my lunch today
  9. Thank you Nancy for the delicious photos of the prawns dish. This Prawns & Onions With Oyster & Soy Sauce dish is so tasty just because it is prawn, because I love to eat prawns. I also love to eat your yinchoy without any sauce or gravy. Is your husband ok to eat yinchoy without any sauces or gravy?
