This was the first Monday of this month.
Morning sky at 7:10am.
On the reverse side (facing Kledang Hill) at 7:10am.
Unsweetened coffee & curry noodle (dry version) with prawn, bbq pork and roast pork for hubby. I didn't take photo of my breakfast. I ordered toast with butter and kaya and a cup of unsweetened coffee.
Figs from my garden.
Waiting for the figs to ripen (wrapped in plastic bags).
I plucked one which has ripen. Sorry for the blur photo.
Not fully ripen yet but edible.
~~~~~
It has been a long time since we last ate at the hawker centre in First Garden.
Hubby ordered pork porridge. I ordered seaweed and pork noodle soup (koay teow). I don't cook seaweed at home because I am the only one eating. I enjoyed this bowl of noodle very much. Will surely make a return visit for this noodle.
Linking to Monday Mural.
For if we are faithful to the end,
trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed,
we will share in all that belongs to Christ.
(Hebrews 3:14, New Living Translation-NLT)
The first building is really pretty, it looks like some kind of church? This is the first time I have ever seen the inside of a fig.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ginny. It is the side of a corner shop lot.
ReplyDeleteOur today´s host sent me home on a train with some of hers in 2019!
LOL, they were so juicy I hoped they do not go on the seat!
Great murals, too!
I somehow cannot reach Sami´s murals today...
Yes, me too. Sami's link opened much later.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Angie.
DeleteHello Nancy, Although I have never eaten this kind of food, it always looks delicious and healthy, and I just love figs. We have a very large fig tree on the farm that needs pruning because all the best figs are at the top. Sometimes my fridge is filled with this tasty fruit. I like the murals which I have not seen before.
ReplyDeleteAll the best.
You are so blessed with a big tree full of figs. Take care and stay safe.
DeleteBeautiful skies and murals and the food looks fab. Keep well, Diane
ReplyDeleteThank you, Diane.
DeleteBeautiful photos 😘😘
ReplyDeleteThank you and have a great day.
DeleteThat first mural is beautiful, makes the building really pretty. I have a fig tree, but our figs mature in January. The leaves are just starting to grow. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Nancy.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sami for hosting.
DeleteI have the same problem at my house. I love eating lamb, shrimp, squid and the rest but the rest of my family hates the food. Oh well, it's their loss.
One man's food is another man's poison. As long as we get to enjoy what we like to eat.
DeleteThanks for the sharing the fig plant, you just gave me an idea for my garden
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome, Alice. Sorry, I couldn't access your blog. You can send me the link to your blog for me to visit and comment?
DeleteWhy do you wrap the figs? Is it so the birds don't eat them?
ReplyDeleteYes, Norma, you guess right.
DeleteStunning murals and really nice looking fig tree, Nancy. I am quite impressed with the first mural, especially.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Elizabeth.
DeleteQuite a contrast in those sky views.
