Enoki Mushroom & Blanched Nai Pak Choy

The sky looks dark and felt like it was going to rain anytime soon.

Morning sky at 6:45am.
6:50am.
We decided to drive out to town for breakfast.
7am.
Hubby was looking forward to his favourite curry noodle.
7:05am.
Not much traffic at this time.
7:10am.
Looking forward to having breakfast at Kedai Kopi Ah Chow, Ipoh old town.
Hubby's dry curry noodle (yellow noodle).
This round, I ordered the prawn noodle.
For extra oomph, I poured the whole plate of sambal into the bowl of prawn noodle.
Back home, I harvested the remaining nai pak choy from hubby's vertical garden.
For dinner, I blanched the nai pak choy and enoki mushrooms, drizzled with garlic oil, oyster and soy sauce.
Our dinner consisted of brown rice porridge and the blanched nai pak choy and enoki mushrooms. This simple dinner is enough to fill our tummy. Just before retiring for the night, we each had a cup of hot milo-o (just plain milo with any sweentener).

Linking to Skywatch Friday.

Hallelujah! Thank you, Lord! How good you are!
Your love for us continues on forever.
Who can ever list the glorious miracles of God?
Who can ever praise him half enough?
(Psalm 106:1-2, The Living Bible-TLB)

  7. Funny - in the first food-pic I see on the left a lady hugging the rest. The head, naked shoulder and arms and them a long dress, left leg sticking out.
    The Pak Choi looks good.

  12. Thank you Nancy. That dry curry noodles look good but I prefer to eat a bit of dry curry noodles and your prawn noodles. Your home grown nai pak dish looks delicious! I would have that without the congee. Any plans for a local vacation during Xmas?
