This was a Friday. We had to go to Ipoh town and ended up having lunch at the old Kopitiam Sum Ho Lok at Persiaran Greenhill.
My colleagues and I will regularly patronize this stall when we were working. The stall closes at about 1pm and we were there at about 12:30pm.
~~~~~
For dinner, we went to try out the claypot chicken rice in Bercham which a friend recommended.
Restoran Sipu Claypot Chicken Rice.
There were 4 of us and we ordered the following items.
Fish balls - 6 pieces for RM10.
Stewed chicken feet - RM9.
Claypot chicken rice - Big @ RM17.
Drinks - RM3.70
Opposite the restaurant, by the roadside is a papaya tree with many small papayas.
Managed to take a snapshot of this evening sky from a moving car on our way home.
What do you think the cloud formation looks like?
I saw this mural in Heritage Town Cafe in Gopeng.
Linking to Monday Mural.
Come before him with thankful hearts.
Let us sing him psalms and praise.
For the Lord is a great God, the great King of all gods.
He controls the formation of the depths of the earth and
the mightiest mountains; all are his.
(Psalm 95:2-4, The Living Bible-TLB)
DeleteNancy, I really enjoy your blog especially with the many different types of dishes but telling me, how do you eat chicken feet? To me there is no meat on their feet. That confused me. Why do people eat chicken feet?
ReplyDeleteCruisin Paul
The chicken feet is stewed till soft and we enjoy the chicken feet for the collagen.
DeleteThe fish balls don't look attractive, but they might be tasty. The papaya tree looks very cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Duta.
DeleteThat papaya tree certainly is prolific. Hope the birds don't eat them before humans do.
ReplyDeleteMost of the times, the birds will get to eat them first.
DeleteOh the food. You made my stomach growl once again.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week, Nancy. ♥
Thank you, Sandee. Have a great day.
DeleteThank you Nancy. The cloud looks like a tree to me. What does it look like to you?
