This was one week before CNY 2023.
Morning sky at 7:05am.
Setting out on our morning walk.
7:15am.
~~~~~
We drove out to Ipoh old town for breakfast at Kedai Kopi Ah Chow.
I don't know if the price has been increased.
There was a prawn, few pieces of roast pork and chicken meat.
Hubby ordered dry curry noodle at RM6.50 from the same stall.
~~~~~
We were with friends at this place and there is a fish pond with lots of beautiful Japanese carps swimming in it.
The sky reflected in the water.
The water is very clear.
Linking to Saturday's Critters.
Again, the Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated
by a fisherman - he casts a net into the water and
gathers in fish of every kind, valuable and worthless.
When the net is full, he drags it up onto the beach and
sits down and sorts out the edible ones onto crates
and throws the other away.
(Matthew 13:47-48, The Living Bible-TLB)
Beautiful clear water and fish. The breakfasts there are sure different from what we eat here.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ginny. Have a great week.
DeleteYou'd love one place here - thousands of koi in a lake. Favourite pastime of the people here is to go there to relax and feed the fish!
ReplyDeleteYes, I would love to join them watching the fish at the lake.
DeleteI love looking at swimming koi.
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteBonitos los peces. Besos.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Teresa.
DeleteOne of my aunties used to have a Koi pond at her house but not anymore. The maintenance can be quite tedious.
ReplyDeleteMy sis has one and yes, it is high maintenance and lots of work. Don't know how long they are going to keep it as both of them are getting on in age.
DeleteThe morning sky is amazingly beautiful.

DeleteHello Nancy, Your images of the Koi fish are lovely. I once had 5 in my pond but a stray cat ate them all.:=(
ReplyDeleteI don't have koi but I had guppies which the king fishers came and ate them all.
DeleteKoi are such beautiful fish, it's lovely and peaceful to watch them swimming around.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mimi.
DeleteKois swim elegantly and make us calm.
ReplyDeleteThank you, RTC.
DeleteI am sure the fish added peace and tranquility to your breakfast.
ReplyDeleteThank you, David. That is why I love to watch them swimming in the water.
DeleteThe pond looks nice with fish. My daughter and I went to a dahlia farm in Aug/Sept and there is a pond that is clear and koi fish in it that are good to see and people enjoying them, even children we was there. Phil and I had our last clam chowder for lunch today with home made biscuits at home. We had to save money this week for bills so best way to save it is eat at home after church instead of eating at a restaurant. I didn't go on a walk but Phil did even though it is cold, in mid 30 F. I have to be careful due to asthma in cold, windy weather. Sun is out though. I saw the moon slightly by a tree last night before going to bed. Have a blessed week!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Beckyl. I agree that having meals at home is very much cheaper than eating out at restaurants. Hubby and I are retirees and we too are trying to save money to best use it on other things. Eating out is a once in a while thing. Do stay warm and take care.
DeleteWhat every one want call the fish. But I find them beautiful
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Thank you, Dora.
DeletePeach hued sunrise, yummy breakfast, and a quiet pond filled with carp of all colors... what a lovely start to your day.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Yvonne. Have a great week.
