Growing White Corn In Pots And In the Ground

The days are dry and hot. Whatever we have growing in the garden are not doing well. One of the plants that are doing well is the white corn which doesn't seems to be affected by the hot and dry weather.

This is the 2nd time I am growing white corn. These are grown in pots.
The white corn is not nice to eat on its own but I will be using them to boil soup.
These 2 plants are grown in the ground outside my house.
I saw these 2 motorcycles when we were holidaying in Penang.
These 2 treasures were parked in front of a restaurant.

Your laws are my joyous treasure forever.

  3. It has been rainy and cold since last Friday evening .. continuous rain for few days. So concern on flood if this rain continues but as of now, it has stopped. Hope for beautiful clear sky tomorrow.

Anything grown by you, sure fertile and growing well. Envy you.

  6. Thank you Nancy. Corns in soup give the soup a natural sweet taste, very nice. I like to eat the corns used to boil soup. Do you eat the corns in the soup?

  8. Did you know that corn beard infusion is diuretic?
To do this, you must let it dry beforehand.

  10. Dry &hot? It is so wet and cold here, rains most of the time, so inconvenient if we want to go out. Here, we only have what we call Ligo sweet corn - very nice and very sweet. They are easily available, less than RM2.00 each so we would just go and buy instead of planting our own. RM10.00 more than enough to go round among the 3 of us.

    1. Yes, I would prefer to buy too but since I still have some seeds, I might as well use them.

  11. I do enjoy seeing your garden grow, although it must not be easy to water it all when the rainy season ends.

    1. During the dry season, I will have to use a garden hose to water the garden.
