After a long spell of hot weather, we finally had a heavy downpour yesterday evening. That helped to cool down the temperature.
Sunrise at 7:05am.
Currently, good news is that I am now sleeping better and have better appetite. Three more days, I will be going to the hospital for the pre-chemo blood test.
A few mornings ago, I took a walk into my side garden and found my Guzmania plant blooming. I will have to remind hubby to feed it some fertilizer.
And why worry about your clothes?
Look at the field lilies! They don't worry about theirs.
Yet King Solomon in all his glory was not clothed as beautifully as they.
And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers
that are here today and gone tomorrow,
won't he more surely care for you, O men of little faith?
(Matthew 6:28-30, The Living Bible-TLB)
On my return from the hospital after the chemo treatment, we passed by this roundabout with this interesting structure. It is a structure of an Indian snack (kacang putih) processing equipment. Hubby had to make another round around the roundabout for me to get another snapshot of the structure.
This structure in the roundabout is in an area which is well known for its many variety of Indian snacks (kacang putih) being processed and sold here. Many from other places outside of Ipoh will come here to buy some Indian snacks whenever they are in Ipoh.
A proud and handsome rooster and its hens.

The rooster is so beautiful. I am glad things are going better for you!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ginny.
DeleteGood luck with your the pre-chemo blood test, all the best. Interesting! Never seen a kacang putih machine before, not even a regular sized one...much less one that is so big! Nice bloom you've got there!
ReplyDeleteThank you, STP.
DeleteThat rooster looks so handsome! Can't you do the blood test in one of your local clinics, who will then fax the result to the hospital?
ReplyDeleteIt is better to have it done as directed to assure that the result is ready before I go for my chemo the next day.
DeleteGreat colours.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jim.
DeleteYour Guzmania flower is so pretty! That structure shape is the same like the way the kacang putih seller wrap the kacang putih. May all be well on your next chemo treatment.
ReplyDeleteThank you, PH.

DeleteNancy makes me happy that you feel better and that you have an appetite. I just read that guzmania is a houseplant.I'll try to get one. To water, you have to try to make the water fall on those small spaces at the birth of the leaves and on them, since this plant absorbs moisture through them.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Norma for the info of the Guzmania plant.
DeleteLove the pretty Guzmania. That Indian sculpture looks interesting. It's been a while since I ate Indian cuisine.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Gigi.
