It is Monday here again. It is now 1:45am here. I just got up to take some biscuits and warm milk. Since I am fully awake now, I might as well put up my post at this time in the early morning. Sitting here in the afternoon is a bit warm even with the fan blowing.

The weather is warm but with some rain on certain days.
Cranberry Hibiscus which is no longer in my garden due to neglect.

I was discharged from the hospital on Saturday, 8th July morning. My next pre-chemo blood test will be on Friday, 21st July and my next chemo treatment (7th) in the hospital will be on Monday, 24th July.
While in hospital, I was told that even after I finished my 9 doses of chemo treatment, I will probably need to further continue on my chemo treatment on and off depending on the CTScan results. And looking at both my hands, the blood veins may not be able to take all the branula needle insertions for the chemo treatment. Earlier I was worried about the risks but now after much consideration, I have agreed for the chemo port insertion and pray that there will be no complication. The process for the insertion will take some time and an appointment date will have to be secured.
Thank God my back pain has lessen and I can get up and out from bed, stand and walk with less struggle and pain. Thank God for all your prayers and thoughts for me.

Thank you for the update on your health. Now I know more specifically what to pray for. The port for sure!! Too bad about this beautiful hibiscus! I think you are a better gardener than anyone! You must get well quick for your plants, they are calling to you!

DeleteYour hibiscus flower is beautiful. Sorry you lost it. I have lost some of mine plants that are perennials. Sad. Including hydrangea. I hope to get one next year once I get find a spot to plant it. I am glad you are getting through chemo for your cancer. It took almost 15 minutes to get a needle in my arm for hydration when I was in the ambulance in May. Being dehydrated isn't the best! Continued prayers and blessings to you!!!

DeleteI really can understand what you are going through. It has been almost 19 months battle for me. I didn't choose the chemo port as I had other worries and issues. Now is my 3rd round chemotherapy and my tail bone aches terribly. I have found the Yoko Yoko (4 times strength) sold at pharmacies very helpful. Stay strong and have faith in your prayers.
