Hong Kong, Day 2 - Ngong Ping Village & Cable Cars Gallery
All too soon the cable car ride was over after about 30 minutes ride. It was a fun ride, filled with jokes, laughter, teasing and all the breath-taking view all around us.
Please excuse the poor quality photos in this post. I think my camera was suffering the after effect of the cable car ride. I think it caught the acrophobia!

This one was keeping watch.
And this one was on the alert!
Linking to Saturday's Critters.
Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober,
set your hope on the grace to be brought to you
when Jesus Christ is revealed at His coming.
As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires
you had when you lived in ignorance.
But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;
for it is written; "Be holy, because I am holy."
(1 Peter 1:13-16, New International Version-NIV)
You had such a wonderful time. Your days filled with much adventure. I think the shots are just fine too.

ReplyDeleteI am glad you enjoy the tour with me. Have a great Sunday!
DeleteThe cable car from Spain is cute....
ReplyDeleteSharon, I agree with you. It reminds me of Ultraman!
DeleteThat entrance is something else...I do enjoy your photos. Just to see another part of the world through your lens is really wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I always enjoy the verses you end with.
Thank you, Rose. Looking through the photos, it refreshes my memory of our time in HK.
DeleteThe Brazil car must have been made in China...
ReplyDeleteStacy, I have to go back and refer to the cable cars again and now I know what you meant. Ha haaa it could be either way. The similarities is so obvious.
DeleteNancy, I don't think I have ever been on a cable car before. At my age, I am not so brave and adventurous, so I'll just pass hah..hah...
ReplyDeleteHi Phong Hong, I think its not about age la. I was so afraid when I was young but now at almost 60 years I suddenly lost the fear! But I wouldn't know about future rides...lol!
DeleteOh Phong Hong, maybe you would enjoy the cable car ride?
DeleteYour photos brought back memories. I have been to this place and walked up the steps to see the Buddha. Did you walk up the steps?
ReplyDeleteMun, I didn't walked up the steps. I was hot and sweaty and the only thing I wanted to do was to find a place to site and cool down.
Deletevery interesting to see round this area and I loved the three dog shots.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Margaret. Have a lovely weekend!
DeleteI visited Hong Kong several times from 1979 - 1981 when I was in the Australian Navy. I remember getting on the really steep tram ride to The Peak as well as going on a cable Car up to Ocean Park. Hong Kong was always my favourite place to visit out of all the Asian countries we went to. And the food was incredible. I remember going to the Jumbo Floating Restaurant at Aberdeen, what an amazing feast we had there. I'm 55 now but have many wonderful memories from those days. Oh & the Tiger Balm Gardens was also an amazing place to visit too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tony. It was my first trip there and there are still many places I have not been in Hong Kong. You did visited many places while you were there and now all those wonderful memories are treasured in your heart. Have a beautiful new week!
