Mr Meow The Parking Attendant

I was at the car workshop having my car serviced. Usually I will wait in the office but on that particular day, I decided to take a short walk to the nearby wet market to buy some fruits. On my way back from the wet market, I passed by this empty plot of land next to the workshop that is used as parking lots.

There is usually a woman seated under the wooden shed to collect parking fee from the customers. But at that time, the woman was no where to be seen. But I saw instead a big cat on the roof of a car parked next to the wooden shed. He is Mr Meow, the new parking attendant? I think he is taking his job very seriously!
I stopped to take a snapshot of this cat on the roof of the car.
It didn't move, instead it was looking straight at me, without a smile!
I took a few steps nearer to take a closer shot.
It snubbed me and looked away.
One of the many dogs found in the recreation park where we used to take our early morning walking exercise.
Something has got his full attention.

Found this dragonfly on my garden wall.
I caught this green grasshopper on my plant chewing on its leaves.
I rustled the leaves to chase it away but instead.....
It hopped onto the brick wall and stayed on the stainless steel cap.
Stubbornly it clung on.....shoo! shoo! shoo!
At last it moved and flew away....to another plant!
I gave up and let it be because the sun was beating down on me.

He called his disciples to him and remarked,
"That poor widow has given more than all those rich men
put together! For they gave a little of their extra fat,
while she gave up her last penny."

  2. You did very well in finding so many critters this week. Your cat photos are priceless. That cat does indeed take his job so seriously, lol. Have a great weekend Nancy. Oh by the way, I read on line today that there are fires burning in the forests of Indonesia. Does that explain why it is so hazy where you live?

    1. Thank you, Joyful. The cat shot was a bonus! Yes, the haze was the result of forest burning in Indonesia and every year around the same time, we have to suffer the haze. But thank God, last few days we had heavy downpour to wash away the haze. Hope we see the last of the haze. Have a lovely weekend!

  9. The cat is smart to sit on top of the car. My neighbour's cat likes to hide under mine and that worries me!

  20. Mr Meow is a polite beings - one looks visitors not too long in the face, is more polite to look away. But of course, to have everything under control.. ;-)
By the way: I have a garden boss, takes control too.
