Tasty Pan Mee At Kedai Kopi Kwong Hong, Gunung Rapat

By the time we have finished buying the biscuits, we were feeling hungry. We didn't take any lunch and it was 6 pm in the evening. We made our way to Kedai Kopi Kwong Hong which is a short distance from the biscuits shop.

We found out that the day business and the evening business are two different businesses but both using the same stall.

When we stepped into the shop, the business has not started yet. There were some customers waiting before us. We were told to take our seats and wait for them to get things ready.

When they were ready to take our orders, we were told to pick our choices and gave them our orders. Since it was our first time here, we picked a few to try out.

My friend ordered this plate of "pan mee", served with minced meat, wood fungus strips, deep fried anchovies. The flat flour noodle tasted very good and with good texture.

A separate bowl of green veggie soup is served together with the noodle.

Upon reaching home, my neighbour a young lady called out to me from next door. I looked over the concrete wall and she passed me a plastic bag. She brought for us a gift pack from Penang Island.

Inside the gift pack were 2 packets of 'Tau Sar Pheah' biscuits and a packet of banana chips.

Crispy deep fried banana chips inside the box - syrup coated chips.

Thanks to my good neighbour for her gift. The banana chips paper box looks like a yellow boat. I was having some fun with the gifts taking these photos before I enjoyed the goodies inside the packages.
