A Visit To Our Local Clinic.

Few months ago, I accompanied my hubby to the local government clinic near our area to seek treatment for his chronic cough. There were days when he hardly cough but once his throat started to get itchy, he will cough non stop.
Reached the clinic just before 8 am.
Hubby went in to get his queue number.
I took the opportunity to walk around and outside the clinic.
The clinic is built in a resident area for the convenience of the local residents.
Waiting area for the queue number to be called.
There is also a mini mart next to the waiting area.
Hubby's number was called and he was given room #7 to see the doctor.
There were quite a number of patients before him, so hubby has to wait awhile.
A blood pressure gauge for the public to monitor their own BP.
Elevators 1 & 2.
Patients are to give doctor's prescription to the person at the pharmacy counter.
Wait till the patient's name is called to collect the medication.
Sometimes there is not enough of parking spaces for the public and they will have to park outside the clinic's compound.
I left hubby and took a walk outside the clinic.
I didn't walk far, just outside the compound of the clinic.
Opposite the clinic is a small field and residential houses.
Saw this tree with lots of small green fruits hanging from its branches.
I don't know what fruits are these, whether they are edible or not.
This is a very fruitful tree.
He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit,
while every branch that does bear fruit
He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.

We have similar public system here, but many people like us go to our own Doctor in private practise.

    1. Thank you, Margaret. Hubby is alright now. When we were working, we prefer to go to private clinic where we need not have to wait long hours. But since we have retired more or less, we don't mind the waiting.

  5. That looks like a granny smith apple tree. I wonder if it is?
It was interesting to see the way your clinics are set up. I like the idea of the mini mart in the waiting area to give something to do or in case you want a snack. We also have pharmacies next door to doctor but I go elsewhere. I hope your husband gets well soon. I'm thinking his cough is probably aggravated by the haze you had. Have a great week!

    1. Hi Sharon, it all depends on the day and the time. Sometimes it is a long, long wait but sometimes not very long. Waiting at government clinic really test our patience.
