My eldest son loves to eat chicken rice and it is especially the chicken rice from Restoran Nasi Ayam Pak Kong. Chicken rice in Malay is nasi ayam. During his recent trip back home for his holidays, we had chicken rice for lunch.
Parking in this area is not easy. To avoid the crowd and to get a table, we had to go earlier before the peak lunch hour.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Eileen. It is the best chicken rice in town! Have a happy day too!
DeleteAll looks so good & chicken rice has always been my favourite. Roasted or poached chicken, both I like. For the poached chicken I prefer not to drown it with the black sauce. Sweet sour vegetable is a very nice appetizer.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Irene. Have a beautiful day!
DeleteEvery dish you ordered looks so yummy...If I were your son, I will stay with you forever and never leave home:) Hmmm....I read a lot about 'petai' from food bloggers, but I don't think I ever tried that ever before...Does it taste like any other beans or even peas?
ReplyDeleteThank you, Annie. Petai tastes like beans and they are crunchy. But after eating, your pee will stink! That's why it is called stinking beans. Ha ha!
DeletePratos com um aspecto magnifico e deliciosos.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e óptima Quarta-feira.
Thank you, Francisco. Have a beautiful day!
DeleteI love chicken rice. Roasted, deep-fried and steamed.
ReplyDeleteYours are so generous with the soy sauce. Over here we dont usually overflood the chicken with sauce. Just drizzle around.
Thank you, Rose. I too like this chicken rice but parking is a problem.
