My Pet Fish Is A Betta or Siamese Fighting Fish.

About 3 to 4 months ago, I posted about my failed fish project here. Last month, I was at a nearby plant nursery and there were bottles of Siamese Fighting Fishes on the rack, selling at MYR 3.50 each (approx. 0.88 USD). I bought a fiery red coloured fish and named it Fiery Flame.

I am considering a bigger home for Fiery or April Flame. (Initially I wanted to name it April Flame). Or whether I should get Fiery Flame a partner too. For the time being, Fiery Flame looks happy in its new home. Below are the photos I have taken of Fiery Flame, showing off its beauty. If you are interested, you can find out more about Betta fishes at bettafish.org.

Today I am joining Wordless Wednesday!

  6. If you get it a partner, you definitely have to get them a bigger home since you are already considering a bigger home! Hope to get updates of April Flame. :)

    1. Wah, Mun! You have sharp eyes, you picked out April Flame. At first I wanted to name it April Flame but later decided that I like Fiery Flame. I amended all except one and you were able to pick it up. Thank you, dear. I also hope to give updates of Fiery Flame.

  15. Pretty! A bigger home never hurt anyone. :)

And of course don't put another fish together in the same container as Flame. Fighting fish like living alone.

    1. Thank you, Stacy. It is true that I better not place 2 fishes in the same home or they will fight each other to death.

  20. Nancy, years ago I had a beautiful blue and red one. He was so cool that I could put my finger in the top of the bowl and he would come up so I could rub him. I had him for 2.5 yrs.
