Peanut Pancakes, Egg Tarts & Breakfast At Restoran Moon De Moon, Ipoh.

My hubby's friend recommended a peanut pancake (apam balik) stall in Kampung Simee to him. We have tasted this pancake before and we in turn recommended it to our friends. One morning, we were taking our friends to Restoran Moon De Moon in Taman Mirindi and we stopped to buy some pancakes for our friends to try.

This stall is near to the crossroad junction near to the Kampung Simee wet market. When we first bought the pancake it was priced at RM 1. It is now priced at RM 1.20 since the beginning of 2017.

Next to the pancake stall is this nasi lemak stall.

This is the crispy peanut pancake.

Besides this peanut filling, we also like the one with corn + peanut filling. They are best eaten when they are freshly made. Our friends are looking forward to eat the pancakes again.

We prepared our friends for the long wait for the chicken noodle at Restoran Moon De Moon. While waiting for the noodles, I walked over to the biscuit shop to buy some egg tarts to try. This place was recommended to me by an ex-colleague.

Even though the door grill was locked, someone came to take my order.

Hubby's breakfast - Crispy deep fried noodle with thick gravy.

A friend's chicken curry noodle - dry version.

A friend's chicken noodle (kai si hor fun) - portion very small, just nice for small eater.

My breakfast. This time I added a fish ball to my bowl of chicken noodle.

1 fish ball costs RM 1.

This is a special kind of fish ball. There is meat ball inside the fish ball. This fish ball is seldom found elsewhere.
