Seafood Dinner At Restoran Makanan Laut Sun Wen Cau, Ipoh.

We used to frequent this seafood restaurant at one time because we enjoyed their seafood noodles. Somehow, we sort of forgotten about this place. Recently, I heard my friend mentioned that this restaurant has been upgraded to a fully air-conditioned restaurant.
Our favourite Prawn Noodle Pot.
It was a Wednesday evening and was still drizzling when we reached the restaurant. Good thing we were there few minutes earlier, or else we wouldn't be able to get a table. Then we remembered that it was a public holiday for Wesak Day, observed by the Buddhists.
Hubby and I were directed to the back of the dinning hall where all the smaller tables are placed.
The front and back of the Menu.
We ordered this Prawn Noodle Pot for 2 people @ MYR 20.
Our choice of noodle is glass or transparent noodle. The prawns were very fresh.
Crab Porridge - Single portion @ MYR 20.
The porridge portion looked big in this stainless steel bowl.
But in actuality, it was a shallow bowl.
The total cost of dinner = MYR 44.30 (approx. 10.19 USD)
(inclusive of 1 glass herbal tea @ MYR 1.80 and 6 % GST)
The address is - Restoran Makanan Laut Sun Wen Cau,
97-99, Persiaran Raja Perempuan Mazwin Selatan, Desa Rishah Indah, Ipoh.

The following photos are for joining Skywatch Friday.
Afternoon sky - expecting heavy rain.
I took this shot with the sunrise behind me. Sometimes, the reflection of the sunrise on the opposite sky is much more beautiful than the actual sunrise.
Lovely reflection in the water.

In the same way,
we can see and understand only a little about God now,
as if we were peering at his reflection in a poor mirror;
but someday we are going to see him in his completeness,
face-to-face. Now all that I know is hazy and blurred,
but then I will see everything clearly,
just as clearly as God sees into my heart right now.

  9. So this is a very popular place. The food looks so good! Love the big shallow metal bowls. But the star of your post today is your gorgeous sky pictures! They are beautiful! I agree! So many times, the opposite side of the sun is where the beauty is!

    1. Thank you, Mun. The crab shell has been cracked for easy eating but we will have to used our hands and get our hands messy.
