Breakfast & Critters From The Beach, Penang.

2nd day, 1st morning in Penang.
We walked down to the beach, waited for the sun to rise, took some photos and walked back to the hotel. Breakfast was ready. Sat down together with the others to enjoy a simple breakfast.
Took a few spoonfuls of fried rice, sausages and green. 3 slices of watermelon and a glass of orange cordial (I thought it was orange juice).
4 pieces of toasted bread (2 slices for hubby and 2 slices for me) and a cup of unsweetened black coffee. After breakfast, we sat and chatted at the lobby while waiting for the morning session to start.
Tortoises in an aquarium in the lobby.
When you go near to the aquarium, the tortoise will come to you looking for food.
A wall with craters and painted with gold sparkles in the ballroom.
A turkey bird, geese and a dog on the beach.
A goose and a turkey.
A sad doggie face with wrinkles and sand sticking to its nose.
Thanks to my friend who sent me the above 3 photos.
A crow on the beach.
This is the nearest I could get before it flew away.
I will share more critters photo next Saturday.
I found this funny looking shell. A flower-like shell stuck to the clam's shell.
A mini garden of edibles and non-edibles on the beach belonging to one of the fishermen.

Linking to Saturday's Critters.

And the Lord will guide you continually,
and satisfy you with all good things, and keep you healthy too;
and you will be like a well-watered garden, like an every-flowing spring.
(Isaiah 58:11, The Living Bible-TLB)

  1. I hope those turtles are not for people to choose one to cook and eat! This is a weird shell!! I like crows, and the ones around here are rather bold.

  21. Hi Nancy, love the photos, breakfast looks yum yum. How unusual to see three such animals on the beech together. I wonder if the dog is looking sad because He didn't get any turkey.
    Take care, Gordon.

    1. Thank you, Gordon. Surprisingly, the dog didn't chase after the ducks and turkey. Probably, it has no friend of its kind. Have a good day. Take care too.
