Late Lunch At Pete Corner, Menglembu.

One afternoon 2 weeks ago, hubby reached home just in time before the heavy downpour. When the rain stopped, it was past 2 pm and we were both feeling cold and hungry. We haven't been to Pete Corner for a long time and we decided to drive to Menglembu for a late lunch. Pete Corner new business hours are from 6.30 am to 4.15 pm.

We were told that if we order a main dish, we can pay an additional RM 3 for a bowl of soup, a glass of fruit juice and a scoop of ice cream. Hubby and I ordered a main dish each + the additional items.
We started with the bowl of mushroom soup.
Herbal Cheese Chicken for me @ RM 17 + 3 = RM 20.
Maryland Chicken for hubby @ RM 15 + 3 = RM 18.
A glass of fruit juice and 1 scoop of chocolate ice-cream.
This was a very filling and satisfying lunch on a cold day.

The following photos were taken when we were on our way home after lunch. I felt like I was in Cameron Highlands.

Shall I look to the mountain gods for help?
No! My help is from Jehovah who made the mountains!
And the heavens too!
He will never let me stumble, slip, or fall.
For he is always watching, never sleeping.
(Psalm 121:1-4, The Living Bible-TLB)

  3. The food looks delicious! Is this an American place? I would eat ALL of it! But the weather...it looks quite frightening.

    1. The chef is a Chinese. This weather has caused some flash floods in some areas.
