Yesterday afternoon, a friend suggested Hotel Excelsior as our lunch venue because the Palace restaurant is promoting their set meals. There were 3 of us, we were working in the same department before we retired.
Entrance to the Excelsior Palace Restaurant (Chinese restaurant).
We ordered 3 single set meals.
First set - Sweet sour chicken chop with rice.
The rice was served on a plate with some salad and potato fries.
Sweet sour chicken chop with carrot, potato and onion served in a separate plate.
2nd set - Fried lemon grass chicken and rice set.
The chicken pieces were coated with fragrant sticky sauce.
3rd set - Baby French beans with minced meat and preserved radish (choy poh) and rice.
The rice for 2nd and 3rd set came in a bowl.
we shared and tasted the 3 different sets. 2 of us managed to finished the rice while a friend only took half a bowl of rice. Since I ate the rice, I had a very light dinner.
Then we were served the desserts.
A chilled black herbal jelly
Sweet drink - boiled sea coconut slices and lemon.
Each set costs RM 15.20 nett.

Sing to the Lord, O kingdoms of the earth -
