Dinner At Kedai Makan Pasar, Menglembu.

Once again we were back at the roadside stalls in Menglembu. Previously, we have tried the food at the first stall. This time we went back to try the food at the second stall. These roadside stalls are facing the main road, with the wet market behind them.

Since this being our first dinner here, we asked the one who came to take our orders to offer some suggestions. We finally decided on the following dishes for 4 people.
Soup on the house seems to be the norm here.
Immediately, we were served with a bowl of white radish soup. We noticed that this soup does not have meat balls compared to the one served by the first stall.
Stewed pork tendon, dried cuttlefish, mushrooms, and etc.
This dish was suggested to us and we wanted to give it a try. It was quite a flavourful and tasty dish. .
4 types of vegetables stir fried with spicy sambal.
Long beans, long purple brinjals (eggplant), ladies fingers (okra), and stinky beans.
Tofu with minced meat gravy.
The food is tasty and the pricing is reasonable.
We will be back to try out more dishes.
This is the name of the stall in Chinese.
I found the name Kedai Makan Pasar posted on the side wall.

(It is next to Restoran Makanan Sembilan Tiga Dua)
Jalan Lee Ming Hin, Menglembu.

I took some snapshots of wall murals from town.
Saw this painted on the back door of a shop.
I can't remember exactly where, mostly likely in Ipoh new town.
This is found in Ipoh old town at a parking lot.
This mural is about the insufficient parking space in this part of town.
The parking problem was very well expressed on the wall.

"Bring the magicians and astrologers!" he screamed.
"Bring the Chaldeans! Whoever reads that writing on the wall and
tells me what it means will be dressed in purple robes of royal honor,
with a gold chain around his neck,
and he will become the third ruler in the kingdom!"
(Daniel 5:7, The Living Bible-TLB)
