Our Sunday's Breakfast & Dinner With Friends

Last Sunday we visited our friends' church. Before attending church, we had breakfast together at Kedai Kopi Kin Kok, Ipoh old town.
Steamed flat rice noodle or chee cheong fun.
Glutinous rice with coconut jam (kaya loh mai fun)
Some Nyonya kuih. Tapioca kuih on the right.
Curry noodle
After church we parted and to meet up again for dinner. It was our friends' first visit to Kopitiam Mun Soon. It was a Sunday evening and the place was crowded but we managed to get a table for 4 people.
Pork rib or pai kuat wong
Combination of 4 types of vegetables with spicy prawn paste.
(long beans, stinky beans, ladies fingers, and eggplants)
Steamed Tilapia with special spicy sauce.
Egg omelette
Watercress soup with pork rib.
After dinner we went to Aeon Station 18.
Porky Pig from Looney Tunes in front of a jewelry shop.
Looney Tunes cartoon characters.
Bugs Bunny, Tweety, and Tasmanian Devil?
Simple Chinese New Year decoration
Found this insect in my washroom one late night.
A brown grasshopper?
Hubby saw this cat on our neighbour's roof.
I was gardening and it was watching me from above.
I think it was not happy with hubby taking snapshots of him.

A happy face means a glad heart;
a sad face means a breaking heart.

If a cat wants her/his privacy, it needs to not be on the roof in front of everyone!

  9. The curry noodle and egg omelet look the tastiest to me. Favorite picture is the beautiful mountains. I though at first this was some kind of cricket. But I am sure you are right, some kind of grasshopper. I have never seen a black one. Did you get it to go outside?

  10. The sharp spikes on the wall look dangerous. May the cat be smart enough to avoid it and not hurt itself.

    1. The cats are really smart. Even these sharp spikes didn't deter the cats from coming down from the roof into our garden - both our garden and our neighbour!
