Warm greetings from my garden!
I have tidied and rearranged my garden to make it easier to manage. I just want to enjoy the garden and not let it be a burden to me. A friend happily adopted all the plants that I wanted to give away. Now there is more space to grow more edibles. The following are some of the plants doing well in my garden in spite of the hot weather.
Orange Crossandra or Orange Firecrackers
It seems to enjoy the hot weather.
The hot weather is also suitable for chili plants.
This one grew from the discarded dried chili seeds
Another one from the dried chili seed.
The chilies are long and slim.
Ripening.
A long red chili.
Growing beside the long chili plant is this plant with short chilies.
The long chili hangs down while the short one points upwards.
Chilies are first fruits while the eggplant is the last fruit from an old plant.
I also harvest these remaining spring onions which I planted for the Chinese New Year cooking.
Didn't want them to grow too old.

This hibiscus plant also enjoys the hot weather.
It has been blooming non-stop.

DeleteWow. I am sure you are not gardening in Colorado. The snow covers the ground here. Then only plants I am growing are the house plants and I have a hard time attending to the the few that I have.

DeleteA good idea to re-arrange your garden space so that you can grow more edibles. Very impressive what you already grow in your hot climate. My husband wants to buy some eggplant seeds which we have never grown. We can grow them in the covered yard/conservatory. I shall be watching your blog to get some gardening tips! Your friend will benefit from your kind donation of plants.
