We booked a holiday homestay at The Quintet for a 3D2N getaway in the Cameron Highlands. After having taken our breakfast, we started our journey. We were blessed with nice, cool weather.
As usual, we stopped at the First Stop which is the Green View Garden. It was a weekday and there was nothing much to see because it looked like the place is now going through a face lift.
Only managed to take some snapshots of these pretty flowers.
The birds are still there and this little brown bird was standing next to the glass panel which made it easy for me to take its pictures.
It also gave a side face pose.
This pretty green bird is also quite close by a nice snapshot.
And as always, we never leave the place without enjoying their handcraft passion fruit ice-cream.

Even though it was still early (about 11:10 am), we decided to stop for lunch at Restoran Tringkap since we were passing by that way.
Crispy deep fried Tilapia fish - their signature dish.
The meat is cut into thin slices and deep fried.

Stir fried okra with sambal belacan.
Deep fried nam yue chicken (marinated with red fermented bean curd).
Deep fried fresh abalone mushroom with batter.
Stir fried vegetable (dragon beard) with sambal belacan.
A 6 dishes lunch for 6 people, waiting for another dish to be served.
This is the 6th (last) dish - plain stir fried green beans.
We did justice to the food as you can see from all the empty plates.

After lunch, the time was just right to check into our home stay.
Wall decoration inside the home stay.
This is a gated property and the place is very new.
This was our "dream house" for our 3 days and 2 nights stay.
It has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We allocated the rooms by drawing lots and everyone is happy with their room.
The first night in Cameron Highlands was cold with the temperature about 18 deg. C.
There are indoor slippers provided for occupants. The floor was too cold to walk about bare footed.
This is "The Quintet" and if you are interested to book a home stay for your holiday in Cameron, here are the details:- "The Moment Homestay", Whatsapp: 012-4667410, wechat: joeylee71

Gostei da decoração dos gelados e aproveito para desejar uma boa semana.

ReplyDeleteNice, another visit to Camerons. :) I wish I could go as often as you, but I can only make it during holidays when it's much too crowded. Then it's too stressful lah.
ReplyDeleteWe only visit Cameron Highlands during weekdays only to avoid the crowd, traffic congestion and also to enjoy lower rental rates.
DeleteThe passion fruit ice cream looks almost to pretty to eat.
ReplyDeleteYou chose a very lovely place to stay.
Thank you, Mimi.
