Broccoli Sauteed With Prawns & Old Cucumber Carrot Soup

Today is 7th day MCO. I am keeping count and staying updated with the current situation through the news and various social media. My smartphone is now waiting at the phone shop. It can only be repaired after the MCO is lifted and businesses allowed to resume. I am thankful that I can temporary use an old phone to stay connected with family members and friends. I am using this old phone to take snapshots but the quality of the photos is not very good.
These orang firecracker flowers add colour to my garden.

Our breakfast and lunch was just simply bread and jam. For dinner, I cooked a vegetable dish, soup and steamed rice for 2 people.
Sauteed broccoli and prawns with garlic.
Boiled soup with an old cucumber, carrot, red dates and pork. This soup is good for warm days.
 Simple dinner for 2.
It rained early yesterday morning and again in the evening. This snapshot was taken just after the light shower at about 6:10 pm.
An antique typewriter displayed at the National Museum.
This typewriter was in use in the office when I first started work in 1978.

Hear my prayer, O LORD; listen to my plea!
Answer me because you are faithful and righteous.
Don't put your servant on trial,
for no one is innocent before you.
In your unfailing love, silence all my enemies
and destroy all my foes, for I am your servant.
(Psalm 143:1,2,12, New Living Translation-NLT)

  1. We didn't have time to settle everything huh. I'd have done a few things if I'd known about this MCO earlier! E.g. use my birthday coupon at the shops, used some vouchers.

    3. You mean you are a member of a Koperasi and need to pay the membership fees? But are they even open?

  10. ...In 1889, the Smith-Premier, made the first typewriter to bear the Smith name, it was manufactured in Lyman C. Smith's gun factory on South Clinton Street in nearby Syracuse, New York. Alexander T. Brown, an employee, invented the machine, and Wilbert Smith financed the construction of the prototype. It sure is a small world. Thanks Nancy for sharing, take care and stay safe.

I’ve been cooking everyday, too. I guess we all have! It’s crazy how this virus has affected practically the entire world! I know God is in control and can bring good from even this!

  17. So they call that typewriter an antique? You should have seen the one my grandfather had! The arms were so long! I guess that's what you call the metal things with letters on the end.

    I remember using a Selectric.
