House Bound 6th Day MCO

Today is 6th day of the MCO or Movement Control Order. This morning I drove out to the nearby shops to get some essentials. I passed by the recreational park on the way home saw 2 - 3 policemen stationed there to make sure that no one goes to the park.
I miss the sunrises at the park. Maybe I will try to wake up early to catch the sunrise from my house. Since the start of MCO, I have been lazing in bed way past the sunrise.

Since the start of MCO, we have been taking bread for breakfast. Hubby eats bread with coconut jam but is not a bread person, so sometimes he cooks sausages, bacon or burger for himself.
On the 2nd day, I forgot what we had for lunch because I have no photos to show, but we had pineapple after lunch. We have been exchanging photos of what we eat with friends through whatsapp to entertain one another during this period of MCO.
For dinner, I cooked rice porridge with diced pork. I harvested some long beans and use them to cook long beans egg omelette to go with the rice porridge.

Sharing some murals on a school wall.
A lone boat anchored at the water edge with no one in sight.
Reminds me of our current situation, all house bound.
We don't know what the future will be like. If the situation worsen, many will suffer. We are praying that the situation will improve and the virus contained. Remembering the healthcare workers caring for the patients and those badly affected. For some, no work means no money and no food.

Go home, my people, and lock your doors!
Hide yourselves for a little while until the LORD's anger has passed.
(Isaiah 26:20, New Living Translation-NLT)

  10. I had porridge for breakfast today, but now have to ration what is in the store cupboard and fridge and use less milk. We try to eat nutritious food and vary our diet. I may get slimmer! :) We have been through tough times, but not like the situation we face now. Lovely pictures of the boats. I like green and blue colours. Praying for you as you pray for us.

    1. So true. Rationing is good especially at this time. We all eat to live and we will surely be slimmer. I have also stopped snacking in between meals. Let's pray for one another. Take care and stay safe.

  13. Pray for this ordeal to end soon. Pray for everyone to be in good health and safe.

I also been lazy and woke up past 7am lately. Last week before they disallowed jogging, I still had morning walk with my man. Now exercise at home. My kids havent been gone out of house for over a week!! But no complaints from them, they have tv and phones to keep them busy.

  17. Ya, economy is badly hit during this period, especially retail and tourism. Plus many people losing their love ones because of the virus. Not a very good year for us. Hope the scientists quickly come out with the vaccine for this illness.
