Today is 6th day of the MCO or Movement Control Order. This morning I drove out to the nearby shops to get some essentials. I passed by the recreational park on the way home saw 2 - 3 policemen stationed there to make sure that no one goes to the park.
I miss the sunrises at the park. Maybe I will try to wake up early to catch the sunrise from my house. Since the start of MCO, I have been lazing in bed way past the sunrise.

Since the start of MCO, we have been taking bread for breakfast. Hubby eats bread with coconut jam but is not a bread person, so sometimes he cooks sausages, bacon or burger for himself.
On the 2nd day, I forgot what we had for lunch because I have no photos to show, but we had pineapple after lunch. We have been exchanging photos of what we eat with friends through whatsapp to entertain one another during this period of MCO.
For dinner, I cooked rice porridge with diced pork. I harvested some long beans and use them to cook long beans egg omelette to go with the rice porridge.

Sharing some murals on a school wall.
A lone boat anchored at the water edge with no one in sight.
Reminds me of our current situation, all house bound.
We don't know what the future will be like. If the situation worsen, many will suffer. We are praying that the situation will improve and the virus contained. Remembering the healthcare workers caring for the patients and those badly affected. For some, no work means no money and no food.
Go home, my people, and lock your doors!
Hide yourselves for a little while until the LORD's anger has passed.
(Isaiah 26:20, New Living Translation-NLT)
How many have the virus there? I love your picture of the water with the light reflections!
ReplyDeleteCurrently about 1,500 plus cases, 159 recovered and 15 deaths. Hope the situation will not worsen.
DeleteStay safe, Nancy! I could eat bread with coconut jam everyday :-))

Thank you, Francisco.
DeleteI had porridge for breakfast today, but now have to ration what is in the store cupboard and fridge and use less milk. We try to eat nutritious food and vary our diet. I may get slimmer! :) We have been through tough times, but not like the situation we face now. Lovely pictures of the boats. I like green and blue colours. Praying for you as you pray for us.
ReplyDeleteSo true. Rationing is good especially at this time. We all eat to live and we will surely be slimmer. I have also stopped snacking in between meals. Let's pray for one another. Take care and stay safe.
DeleteHello Nancy! Pretty sunrise photo. I love pineapple, yum! The murals are beautiful. Take care and be well. Wishing you a happy new week!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Eileen. You take care too and stay safe.
DeleteI miss restaurant food. LOL!
ReplyDeleteMe too! I miss going out for breakfast and dinner.
DeletePray for this ordeal to end soon. Pray for everyone to be in good health and safe.
ReplyDeleteI also been lazy and woke up past 7am lately. Last week before they disallowed jogging, I still had morning walk with my man. Now exercise at home. My kids havent been gone out of house for over a week!! But no complaints from them, they have tv and phones to keep them busy.
This ordeal is making me lazy. I off the alarm since I don't have to get up early for morning walk. The only exercise is housework and some gardening.
DeleteAha this is the perfect situation for your garden to shine! I'm even going around mine looking for edible greens.
ReplyDeleteFortunately I still have something to harvest from my garden. Hope the seeds sowed will grow up healthy.
DeleteIt's amazing Nancy, since these changes, I have gotten up around 6:30 each day and I've seen the sun get up. Crazy isn't it. Oh well, stay strong and safe.
ReplyDeleteCruisin Paul
Wow! Good that you are now enjoying the sunrises. For the past few days, the sky here is grey and nothing spectacular. Stay safe and healthy.
DeleteFood as always looks good! I made Hungarian Beef Stew last night and it was so good!
ReplyDeleteBeef stew sounds delicious.
DeleteYa, economy is badly hit during this period, especially retail and tourism. Plus many people losing their love ones because of the virus. Not a very good year for us. Hope the scientists quickly come out with the vaccine for this illness.
ReplyDeleteStay positive stay strong and stay safe nancy.
Thank you, Libby. Everyone is affected and hope we will come out of this ordeal stronger. Stay safe too.
DeleteStay safe.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI have never heard of coconut jam...I sure would like to try it. I wonder if some of the bigger stores here have it.
ReplyDeleteI keep praying too...
Here coconut jam is known as "kaya". Its coconut milk, sugar and egg.
Delete...at the moment home looks very nice to me.
ReplyDeleteHome is the best place for me.
DeleteWe are all staying in here too. It's all we can do.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, Nancy. Be well. ♥
Stay home to stay safe. Have a happy Tuesday!

DeleteWe are house bound, too. But, when I stand in my driveway, neighbors come by to chat with me.
ReplyDeleteWe speak to our neighbors at a safe distance to keep each other safe.
DeleteBecause i clean for elderly and sick people, i have to go out, they need me. It's so difficult for all of us right now.
ReplyDeleteWe are told to wear facial mask if we have to go out and practice social distancing to stay safe.
Deleteyes, praying that the healthcare personnel to be safe and protected. at least you have vegetables from your garden.
ReplyDeleteLimited supply from the garden. Hope the newly sowed seeds will grow fast.
