Another warm day. Current local temperature according to the internet is now 33 deg C at
1:30 pm here in Ipoh. This warm weather is making me sleepy and lazy.
Lovely morning sky at 7:15 am.

For dinner I cooked the following 2 dishes.
Chinese Spinach (yeen choy) sauteed with garlic and dried prawns.
Sambal stinky beans (petai), home grown long beans and okra with minced meat.
Thanks to a friend who blesses me with her home made sambal paste, cooking sambal dishes is so much easier for me.
To enjoy sambal stinky beans to the maximum, we need to eat it with rice.
The same friend who blesses us with the sambal paste bought a big packet of iced cendol for us. Hubby and I shared this big bowl of ice cendol after dinner.
Orange fire cracker flowers from my garden.
From the National Museum - The Speaker's Chair.
The Speaker's Chair is a gift from the House of Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Malaysian Government on 2 November 1963 as a token of friendship and Malaysia as a new member of the Commonwealth Association.
For the free gift of eternal salvation
is now being offered to everyone;
and along with this gift comes the realization
that God wants us to turn from godless living
and sinful pleasures and to live good,
God-fearing lives day after day,
looking forward to that wonderful time
we've been expecting, when his glory shall be seen
-the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
(Titus 2:11-13, The Living Bible-TLB)
That is a lovely sunrise...and lovely is the perfect word for it.
