One morning we found a few of our regular coffee shops in town closed and we ended up in a nearby shop which sells tasty wanton noodles. We have been here a few times before. The wanton mee here is good too.
The wanton noodles stall is here at Comeson (Gold Mountain in Cantonese) Restaurant & Hotel. In the morning, it is the only noodle stall operating here.
The stall is at the side of the shop.
They have sweet sour pork rib and preserved salted bean pork rib.
We ordered the sweet sour pork rib noodle for me and the preserved salted bean pork rib for hubby. Pickled green chilies in soy sauce is always served with wanton noodles.
I ordered 2 sui kow, one for hubby and one for me.
I love to eat sui kow with lots of ingredients in it.
Dry version (kon loh) wanton noodle with blanched Chinese cabbage. The noodles were served separately from the stewed pork rib.
Total cost of breakfast for 2 people MYR 10.

The tall building at the back is the newly built "The Majestic" building.
Comeson Restaurant is a corner shop next to the Restoran Tauge Ayam Ong Kee, located along Jalan Yau Tet Shin, Ipoh.
For supper, hubby bought these yummy woo kok (yam puffs). These were bought from a road side stall. It only starts business around 10 pm and the woo kok supply is limited.
Personally, I think these woo kok taste much better than those sold in some of the dim sun restaurants in town.

"I need to sit down."
"Hey, don't be rude!"
"Did you said I was rude?"
"You did it on purpose!" "No, I didn't!"
What causes fights and quarrels among you?
Don't they come from your desires that battle within you?
