Birds Nestling In The Garden

We were thinking of having beef noodles for breakfast but were disappointed to find the shop closed for renovation. We drove on to another place near the Jelapang wet market to buy Hong Kong chee cheong fun (steamed rice rolls with filling).

We bought 2 portions of Hong Kong chee cheong fun with bbq pork and prawns for filling.
The sauce, sambal and toppings were packed separately.
We also bought some stuffed items from the next stall that sells economy noodles.

Thanks to my friend for the following photos.
One morning he noticed a bird moving in his Water Jasmine plant.
He zoomed in with his phone camera and saw this bird sitting in her nest.
When the mama bird was not around, he went near to check and saw 2 little eggs in the nest.
One day, he hear chirping coming from the Water Jasmine plant. He waited till mama bird was not around and he saw 2 little chicks napping in the nest.
The next time he went to look, they were awake.
This little one keeping an eye on him.
The next time he checked, the chicks were clothed with beautiful feathers.
They were so cute, my friend couldn't resist and he gently scooped up one chick to hold in his hand. The chicks looked calm and were not scared. Very soon, the chicks will be leaving their nest.
My friend googled and forwarded the above information to me.

Jesus asked, "How can I describe the Kingdom of God?
What story shall I use to illustrate it?
It is like a tiny mustard seed!
Though this is one of the smallest of seeds,
yet it grows to become one of the largest of plants,
with long branches where birds
can build their nests and be sheltered."

Fish Curry & Jui Hu Char For Dinner

More eateries are opening up for dine-in. After the "wait and see" period, many will also be ready to open up for dine-in early next month. But for this particular morning, hubby went out to buy breakfast because I was bored with noodles and wanted to eat oat porridge for a change.

Hubby bought pork noodle and some stuffed items.
This is my oat porridge topped with almond slices, walnut chunks and dried cranberries.
All the other colours periwinkles have disappeared except for this white periwinkles.

Our lunch with breakfast food.
Fried egg and bacon with wholemeal bread for me.
2 half boiled eggs, bacon and bread for hubby.
Periwinkles are self-propagating plants.
~~~~~
It was my sister's birthday. Since there is no birthday gathering, I ordered 2 portions of fish curry and sent one over to my sister for her dinner.
I took out half from my own portion for dinner and kept the other half for next day. This is our favourite fish curry.
Home cooked "jui hu char" which is yam bean (sengkuang), carrots, dried shiitake mushrooms, and dried cuttlefish. I can eat a big plate of this without having any rice.
You make the sunrise and the sunset shout for joy.
Nasi Kunyit, Assam Laksa, Neen Koh & Flower Crab Soup
Our morning walk started at about 6:54am.
No sign of sunrise at 6:54am.
Kledang Hill at 7:16am, reflection of sunrise.
7:21am
~~~~~
Hubby and a friend compared notes on nasi kunyi.
The friend recommended this place with a better nasi kunyit at the Dong Ku Teng Restaurant in Canning Garden.
Nasi kunyit or turmeric rice (glutinous rice coloured with turmeric powder).
Hubby had the nasi kunyit served with chicken curry.
This chicken curry has a thicken gravy compared to others place.
I wanted to order curry noodle from the same stall but was told that only the dry version was available which I didn't want. So, I ordered prawn noodle instead, also from the same stall. The seller is generous with the prawns and fish cake slices. This stall starts business at about 6:30am.
Midday sky.
Blue sky and white fluffy clouds.
~~~~~
Having nothing to do, we drove to Ipoh Garden to buy neen koh and assam laksa.
We bought 4 pieces of fried neen koh and 2 pieces of fried banana. Then bought 2 portions of assam laksa and 2 pieces of crunchy fried bean curd sheet from another stall.
We have tried the neen koh a few times but this is the first time buying the fried bananas.
Look at the sticky neen koh oozing out from between the taro and potato slices. Neen koh is steamed and hardened sweet glutinous rice cake.
Crunchy fried bean curd sheet from the assam laksa stall.
Assam laksa with sweet sour fish flakes broth.
Assam laksa broth with thick rice noodle (lai fun).
Simple home cooked dinner.
As I will be cooking flower crabs, I cooked egg with ginger strips soup for hubby. He had steamed rice with this soup.
As I was still quite full, I didn't want any rice. I cooked flower crabs with ginger and wine soup for myself. I haven't had this dish for a long, long time. I gave a portion to my neighbour.
To quarrel with a neighbor is foolish;
a man with good sense holds his tongue.
Year End Shopping For Women's Clothing
What is Black Friday? It is the day after the US Thanksgiving Day. This year, Thanksgiving Day falls on the 25th November, 2021 and the next day is Black Friday. Black Friday starts off as the first day of Christmas shopping season as retailers come up with many special offers and deals for shoppers. As huge crowd of shoppers headed to the stores, they cause massive traffic jams giving the bus drivers and police a hard time and that is how the name Black Friday came about. These two years have not been good for the economy due to the pandemic and this year retailers are looking forward to Black Friday to bring in some good profit.
Due to the pandemic, many of us didn’t get the chance to have a proper Christmas celebration with family and friends. Hopefully, this year will be different. As Christmas is less than two months away, let us be positive and look forward to a good Christmas. We can start off with our Christmas shopping for presents for love ones and friends, and of course for ourselves.  What better time to buy some women’s clothes online to pamper ourselves by taking advantage of the Black Friday sale.
There are many women's clothing online stores and one of them is Prestarrs. They have a wide selection of women’s clothing for all seasons. The designs and styles are more to my taste. For those of us who are going through the cooler autumn months, you can check out some of the women’s long sleeve blouses.
Remember to check out the range of new arrivals and don't miss the special or hot sale items. Here you can find fashionable and chic women’s clothing at reasonable and affordable prices. You can easily find formal to casual clothing in your favourite colours and styles to fill up your wardrobe. Get some new trendy clothing for this festive season.
Hubby went to the nearby food court to buy lunch from the Indian stall. He bought 2 pieces of fried chicken, cabbage and long beans without any rice for us to share.
~~~~~
Home cooked dinner.
Chicken chop with boiled potatoes and broccoli.
2 pieces of chicken chop with carrot, onions and tomatoes gravy. We have not had chicken chop or Western food for many months so there is no complain over this home cooked chicken chop.

In everything you do, stay away from complaining
and arguing so that no one can speak a word of blame against you.
You are to live clean, innocent lives as children of God
in a dark world full of people who are crooked and stubborn.
Shine out among them like beacon lights,
holding out to them the Word of Life.
Then when Christ returns, how glad I will be
that my work among you was so worthwhile.
(Philippians 2:14-16, The Living Bible-TLB)
