Steamed Buns & Chicken Potato Curry

Yesterday was 38th day MCO and it was a mixture of cloudy and sunny day as you can see from the photos I have taken. It has been drizzling on and off for the whole day.
This was taken at 7:43 am, facing east.
On the opposite side, facing west, this was taken at 7:44 am.
~~~~~
Plants from my garden were well watered by the early morning rain.
Gardenia bloom.
Gardenia buds
Cactus Euphorbia Viguieri with rain droplets.
Green and yellow leaves croton with rain droplets.
Red and green Algaenoma sp with rain droplets.
Facing west, Kledang Hill at 7:52 am.
Breakfast: steamed buns from our neighbour.
Steamed buns consisting of "sang yoke" or minced pork and kaya buns.
Facing west, the Kledang hills covered by white cloud at 9:00 am.
Lunch: we had steamed buns again.
2 buns from our neighbour and 1 big bun from a friend.
Chicken curry bun, minced pork bun and bbq pork bun (big bun).
Facing east, clear sky at 12:50 pm.
Facing east, blue sky with white clouds at 2:30 pm.
Opposide side, facing west, dark clouds looming over the Kledang Hill at 2:30 pm.
Sweet and healthy snack - Mango.
I took this picture after having eaten half the mango in the plate.
Dinner
With the remaining 1/3 of a chicken and some potatoes, I cooked chicken curry with a packet of ready made curry paste.
Tean's chicken curry paste.
This curry paste makes delicious chicken and potato curry.
2 big portions of chicken potato curry cooked with 1 packet of curry paste.
I further divided the 2 big portions into 3 smaller portions.
Simple dinner for 2 people.
The 2 dishes at the front were leftover from previous meal.
After an early dinner, I took a photo of the evening sky at 5:50 pm (facing east).
On the opposite side, facing west, there was no setting sun at 5:50 pm.
Then at 7:18 pm, I captured this lovely sunset behind the Kledang Hill.
At the same time, reflection of the setting sun on the east side.
One hind legged grasshopper clinging onto my gate. Looks like the same one legged grasshopper that used to visit my garden and feed on my plants.
Hubby had just completed painting the gate.
This grasshopper probably came to inspect the finished work.
Linking to Saturday's Critters.
If you want favor with both God and man,
and a reputation for good judgment and common sense,
then trust the Lord completely; don't ever trust yourself.
  1. It is so fast and easy nowadays to cook chicken curry from the ready made pastes. Just add curry leaves to make it fragrant.
    The hardware shops are making more money nowadays as more people are painting and fixing their houses.
    1. This time I couldn't add curry leaves because it was raining cats and dogs that prevented me from plucking the leaves from my garden. It is true to minor painting and repair works that do not need professionals.
