Curry Noodles & Herbal Chicken Soup

Yesterday was 37th day MCO. Last night our PM made an announcement informing of the continuation of the MCO with 4th phase extending to 12th of May. Even though many may not be happy with the extension, we know that it is for our own and the whole nation's good. Let us put aside our complaining and be patient to see us through the pandemic crisis.
This sunrise was captured at 6:58 am in front of my house.
A new morning bringing us new hope for another new day.
A beautiful beam of sunlight proclaiming to all the glory of the Sovereign God who watches over us.
Let us continue to place our faith and trust in The God Almighty.
~~~~~
Yesterday morning, hubby went out to buy breakfast.
Hubby's curry noodle, dry version with a stuffed tofu added.
My curry noodle, soup version with a stuffed tofu added.
All the mint leaves from hubby's curry noodle came over to mine.
He also bought 4 pieces of stuffed bean curd sheet.
Delicious and satisfying breakfast for 2 that will last till dinner.
Sweet honey melon for lunch, blessing from our neighbour.
Later in the afternoon while I was having a nap, our neighbour handed a papaya and a box of steamed buns to hubby. I kept the steamed buns for next day's breakfast and lunch.
Dinner
I want to try this packet of herbal tonic soup which I bought from Sung Khong. I used 2/3 of the chicken to boil with the herbs from the packet.
Delicious herbal chicken tonic soup.
There was a heavy downpour yesterday evening and this piping hot soup was just nice for a cool evening.
I also cooked the above dish.
(cauliflower, carrot with marinated chicken meat.)
Dinner for 2
There was a leftover dish from a previous meal.
Pretty pure white Dwarf Mexican Petunia from my garden.
Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honor to him.
For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb,
and his bride has prepared herself.
She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.
For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God's holy people.
  1. Hi Nancy, I agree it is not good to complain. We must work with authorities and be patient for this pandemic to be defeated. In the meantime it looks like you are eating wonderful, healthy and tasty food. God bless and keep you and your husband safe.
  2. good good good food as always. I wish for another two weeks extension to May 26. May my wish come true. Did your neighbour make the steamed buns herself?
  3. Beautiful dwarf petunia Nancy. We eat a lot of different vegetables, cauliflower is one of my favourites. We humans feel really small and helpless in front of this pandemic. Take care.
  11. I love white flowers and the petunia is very pretty. A petunia is good value as a bedding plant or in a pot as there are so many flower buds that open at different times. Happy weekend!
  19. Beautiful sky photos, delicious food, a flower, and a favorite verse.
    We have to stay patient during this time. My wife and discussed it and we have decided that we are not going to get out of isolation until hospitals allow visitors. Our isolation is not as strict as your MCO.
    Have a great weekend and stay safe!!
