Curry Noodles & Penang Assam Laksa

After 7 full weeks, the MCO is now more relaxed with many returning to work. Travelling exceeding 10 km is allowed within the states. This is not the time for celebration and we are choosing to stay home. Sharing below are some snapshots of yesterday's morning sky (49th day MCO).
 Sunrise at 6:52 am.
 6:58 am.
 7:08 am.
 7:13 am.
 7:22 am.
~~~~~
Hubby went out to town to buy curry noodles.
 Curry noodle dry version for hubby and curry noodle soup version for me with some fried stuffed bean curd sheet. The take away portion is big, so next time must remember to buy single portion to share.
~~~~~
Lunch & dinner.
 I used the above last packet of Penang assam laksa paste which I bought in Penang to cook assam laksa soup the fast and easy way with fish flakes from a tin of sardine.
 I used blanched rice vermicelli and all the above fresh garnishing including lettuce, onions, bird's eye chili, cucumber, pineapple, and lime juice.
 Penang assam laksa with lots of fish flakes for 2 people
There was enough for 5 portions, gave 1 portion to a friend.
Kept 2 portions for dinner.
To end this post, I share this picture of Periwinkles and Pink Shower Petunia blooms from my garden.

  9. Your sky shots are always so lovely. I think the new norm would be we have to live with the virus unless a vaccine is available. The assam laksa broth must be very tasty, enjoyable and flavourful. Is it very spicy?

    1. I feel we should continue to wear facial mask whenever we go out to public places even when the MCO is completely lifted. Temporary no dining in restaurants or enjoying our breakfast in coffee shops. Temporary no holidays or foodie adventures with my friends. Once MCO completely lifted, it will be difficult to observe social distancing.
