A Rainbow Brings Hope

I thought I would take a few days leave from posting on my blog starting yesterday (83rd day MCO) but something made me change my mind. It was after dinner when I took the trash out that I saw the rainbow in the sky.
 7:23 pm
It was a short rainbow but it caught my attention.
 I quickly went into the house to get my smartphone before the rainbow disappear.
 Even though it was a short rainbow but the very sight of the rainbow is a sign of hope. We are on the road to recovery from the pandemic. Yesterday, the prime minister announced further relaxation of the MCO and from 10th June, many will be able to travel home to visit their families throughout the nation.
 On the opposite site, a snapshot of the setting sun over Kledang Hill.
Yesterday, I call my hairdresser to get an appointment for a haircut. Since the announcement, many of the clients have called her. I am glad that she is able to slot me in as the last customer for Thursday. As we look forward to our lives getting back to normal, we must not to be careless but to follow the safety guidelines to protect ourselves from the Covid-19 virus.

We live within the shadow of the Almighty,
sheltered by the God who is above all gods.
This I declare, that he alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I am trusting him.
(Psalm 91:1-2, The Living Bible-TLB)

  11. Just before we went to sleep last night there was a brief thunderstorm. The last clap was the longest, rumbling along the clouds nearby. - Margy
