We skipped our walking exercise yesterday morning (81st day MCO) because I overslept. By the time I woke up, the sun was already up and shining brightly. Before breakfast, I went out to water my plants and take some snapshots in the garden.
Creamy white and sweet fragrant Gardenia bloom.
Tiny Purple Heart.

We went to pick a friend from the car servicing center and from there we went to buy durians.
The durian seller was in the midst of unloading the durians from his car boot. The local durians were selling at RM 10.00 per kilo.
We came home with the above durians.
The above durians in containers are kept in the fridge.
We love chilled durians.

Dinner
I used the above packet of A1 (AK KOH) Herbal Soup to boil soup.
Ingredients used: 1 packet A1 Herbal Soup, 1 pig's stomach, rib bones, dried shiitake mushrooms, tang kui or Chinese Angelica root, red dates, wolf berries, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, and salt to taste.
Chinese Herbal Soup (without rice/noodle) for dinner.
Shining orange Firecracker reflecting the sun light.
Do everything without complaining and arguing,
so that no one can criticize you.
Live clean, innocent lives as children of God,
shining like bright lights in a world
full of crooked and perverse people.
(Philippians 2:14-15, New Living Translation-NLT)
I like herbal soup with either chicken or pork :-)) Orange Firecracker looks really pretty.

DeleteRM10 is soooo cheap! I don't have much luck with cheaper or not-so-cheap durians. Recently I bought MSK at 50+/kg and finally enjoyed my durian.
ReplyDeleteI prefer local durians even though less flesh and bigger seeds. I didn't check on the price of MSK durians.
DeleteNow is the durian season.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed 2 rounds of durian feast. Looking forward to the next round.
