This was 78th day MCO. We walked to the nearby shops, taking one big round and then walked back to our house. Then we drove to Menglembu new township to buy breakfast.
Wonton noodle with chicken curry for hubby.
Wonton noodle with bbq pork and fried pork for me.
3 minced pork wonton dumplings and 1 sui kow in clear soup.
Breakfast for 2 people.
Hubby had unsweetened Sabah tea and I had unsweetened Nescafe with milk powder.
The early birds get the fig!
I was watering my plants when I noticed that one of the figs in my garden had been eaten by birds.
~~~~~
After breakfast, hubby went out to help an elderly friend submit some claims with the Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) and Employees Provident Fund (EPF). The friend wanted to show his appreciation by blessing us with a bag of the following goodies.
A packet of Chinese red dates.
Dim sum siew mai.
2 glutinous chicken rice.
4 steamed bbq pork buns
~~~~~
Lunch
Hubby and I shared the siew mai for lunch.
Yesterday I made a batch of steamed "sang yoke" buns (minced pork filling). I gave some to bless my friends and neighbour.
~~~~~
Dinner
Home cooked herbal chicken soup with noodle.
I used 1 whole chicken and 1 packet of dried herbs.
I kept another portion of soup for the next day's dinner.
Delicious dinner for 2 people.
One morning while out walking with hubby, I took this snapshot on our way home. I am not sure, but they look like pigeons perching on the power cable.
Linking to Wordless Wednesday & My Corner of the World.
So my counsel is:
Don't worry about things - food, drink, and clothes.
For you already have life and a body -
and they are far more important than what to eat and wear.
Look at the birds! They don't worry about what to eat -
they don't need to sow or reap or store up food -
for your heavenly Father feeds them.
And you are far more valuable to him than they are.
(Matthew 6:25-26, The Living Bible-TLB)
