We met up with friends at about 12:40 pm at Vintage Coffee & Bread, Jalan Theatre in Ipoh new town. Our friends reached earlier and they got a table for 4 people.
2 coffee, 1 iced honey lemon tea & 1 hot honey lemon tea.
Our friends ordered the sponge cake and some puffs to share. Sorry, we only remembered to take photos after we started to eat.
We cut the sardine puff & taro puff into small portions to taste.
Our friends' lunch.
We already had our lunch before meeting up with our friends.
Can you see the red arrow pointing to the gold tin in the middle of the above picture? My father-in-law's shop has the same type of tin that is attached to a pulley. The tin is used for keeping money earned from items sold.
Nice quote on the wall.
Decoration made from shells.
A dynamo to generate electricity for the bicycle light.
Contact numbers.
Evening sky after a heavy downpour.
Pink & Purple Wishbone flowers.
Let all others join me who trust and fear you,
and we will discuss your laws.
Help me to love your every wish;
then I will never have to be ashamed of myself.

DeleteWhat's the purpose putting the tin on a pulley?
ReplyDeleteThere are small change inside the tin held high up on the pulley. When you need to give back some change to a customer, just pull down the tin, drop whatever is given by customer, take whatever change needed and let go of the tin.
