Time to harvest my home grown Brazilian spinach. Together with the bean sprouts given by a friend, it will be enough for a plate of blanched vegetable for our dinner.

Glutinous Rice Wine & Bak Kut Teh Soup
As usual, we stopped by one of our regular coffee shop after our morning walk. Before we could sit down, our friend handed over the sweet cakes or Nyonya kuih to us. Our day started off with sweet cakes or kuih. When I was young, I do not like sweet things but as I get older, I am not so fussy.
it can season anything.
So don't lose your flavor!
Live in peace with each other."

Breakfast And Dinner On A Rainy Day
Lately, we have been getting a lot of rain with some places hit by flash flood. Some places were badly flooded and the residents have to be moved to higher ground. On this particular morning, it was raining when we woke up. By the time the rain stopped, we were hungry and ready for breakfast. We went to Restoran Meng Meng Kee in Menglembu.

Savoury glutinous rice, baked snacks, & Claypot Chicken Rice
We couldn't go for morning walk because it was raining when we woke up. We waited for the rain to stop and we drove out to Kedai Kopi Sun Yuan Loong for breakfast. The last time I was here was with my ex-colleagues and friends, and that seems like a long time ago.

Curry Noodle & Chicken Arrowroot Soup On A Cool Day
Last week, both of our regular coffee shops were closed for 2 days. Coincidentally, the rest days of both the coffee shops fell on the same days i.e. Monday and Tuesday. On Tuesday morning, we went to another nearby coffee shop for breakfast after our morning walk. On and off, we will have breakfast at Restoran Kee Tuck Seak because hubby likes to eat the wat tan hor or the flat rice noodle with thick egg + cornflour gravy.
