Curry Noodle, Steamed Stinky Beans Buns & Seafood Tom Yam.

It was a Sunday morning. It was the first Sunday we went back to church since the pandemic and movement control order. We were early, so before going to church, we went for breakfast at Yee Fatt Tea Shop for our favourite "messy" dry curry noodle.

After going through the SOP, such as using MySejahtera app to scan with our handphone and having our temperature taken, we got ourselves a table for 2 people. We ordered 2 black coffee without sugar.
For noodle, instead of ordering the usual chicken curry and bbp pork, I ordered koay teow which is flat rice noodle with bbq pork and roast pork with thick curry gravy. This is my type of delicious "messy" curry noodle.

The night before, a friend blessed us with 4 steamed buns which I kept in the fridge.
That afternoon, I took out the buns from the fridge and re-steamed them for lunch. The steamed buns with sambal stinky beans filling.
Very tasty stinky beans buns.

I didn't cook any new dishes because there was leftover tom yam soup from the previous day's dinner.
I added fish fillet and remaining pineapple to the leftover tom yam soup. The portion was enough for hubby and I.
I should cook tom yam soup more often because it is so delicious and appetizing.
My one and only pot of peace lily plants.

Have a Blessed Sunday.

When a man is trying to please God,
God makes even his worst enemies to be at peace with him.

  2. Unfortunately, I only watch Mass on TV. In Poland, the epidemic has gained momentum. It wasn't that bad with us before.
I am curious about these stuffed buns :)

  5. Buns with stinky beans, something new to me. Your breakfast, lunch and dinner, all are spicy, did you notice?

    1. Ha ha ha...yes, now that you have mentioned. I do love spicy food and it is just coincidence that all 3 were spicy.

    1. It needs a bit of getting used to because of the sitting arrangement for social distancing and wearing of mask throughout the time in church.

    1. Those are frozen fish slices. Given by my neighbour and was told that it is a type of patin fish.

  17. Wow the thick curry sauce and generous garnishing of mint leaves gets top points. I haven't tried stinky bean in pows - not that keen to try either!

Oh I saw that kind of frozen patin fish sold on Shopee.

  20. It's nice to know you were able to go to church.

It is also a good thing when there are enough leftover items to make another meal.
